"Great Hotel"
|
With an Australian friend who had never been to Las Vegas, we set off for two nights at the "new" Aladdin. It's in the location that the Aladdin has been for forty-some years, however was torn down and completely rebuilt. A typical-looking forty story 4000 room hotel, however tasteful and elegant without the overpriced rooms of some in Vegas now.
Got two rooms from the web, and were unexpectedly upgraded to TWO GIANT suites! Bedroom, large living room with projection television, kitchen, bar, two bathrooms. . .all for two people who've never been there before. I love Las Vegas!
Unlike some of the older hotels, the parking/taxi area is extremely well organized and this hotel doesn't require you walk thru miles of casino to get to the room elevators. Restaurant and room service competent and as needed. Rooms clean and neat. Blackjack tables very friendly, allowing me to get back to LA with more dough than I arrived with. November 24, 2005 |
"Loved the Aladdin"
|
My husband & I stayed at the Aladdin June 12-15. I found it to be a very nice experience. The hotel was just the right size and we did not spend the whole time walking around the casino hunting for the elevators up to our room. We stayed in a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains which was very nice. I also really loved the tub! We ate at the Spice Market buffet for breakfast one morning and I found the food to be excellent and the price very reasonable. We also celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at the Commander's Palace. I hate to say it but I was a little disappointed in the food there. The pool was okay but could have been a lot better. I would stay here again. June 29, 2005 |
"Great Place"
|
My husband and I went to Vegas, June 20-24, 2005. We stayed at the Aladdin during that time. I was having 2nd doubts from some of the reviews I was reading here since alot of the people were complaining about the beds. Just want to say that to us the beds were comfortable didn't have any discomfort. Also if you are as tired as we were I doubt you will feel any discomfort. We had a Resort room as soon as we checked in we got upgraded to a Suite, which was very nice, clean and the view was GREAT. I believe I read that in 2006 Aladdin will become Planet Hollywood.Like to recommend a place to eat at Bally's which is The Steakhouse very nice restaurant, pricey but worth it. June 29, 2005 |
"We had a great experience!!"
|
Our family stayed at the Aladdin from Christmas Eve until the first of the year. We found the service excellent, the rooms immaculate and the atmosphere festive. The Desert Passage shopping was our favourite of all the other casino shopping areas. Valet Parking was expedient, especially during such a busy time. Don't hesitate to reserve a room here! "Excellent Service!" |
Arrived at 8 p.m. on New-Year's Eve and was told that there were no deluxe rooms available. Unlucky. Then the desk clerk, Eilleen (without being prompted or asked) had a word with her supervisor and upgraded us to a Panorama Suite! If you don't know what this is, it is hard to describe, but it was unbelievable! 1,200 square feet of luxury ringed with a quarter circle of bay windows overlooking the south Las Vegas Strip. A huge soaking tub, 54" TV, wet bar, dining room, two bathrooms, computer, and 3 couches. Amazing accommodations! Parking (Valet) was free, and it took us only 15 minutes from the time we pulled our car up to the entrance to be standing in our 28th floor palace. EVERY staff member was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful, no matter what the emergency was. The hotel was adequately staffed even considering that Vegas had an estimated half-million visitors there that night. They all went out of their way to be sure everyone had a night to remember. We certainly did....I would recommend this hotel unreservedly. The buffet is great, the gambling (although mediocre in payout) was fun, with the latest machines and table games available. The location is fantastic, truly walking distance from 5 of the best casinos and attractions around (Paris, Bally's, Bellagio, Ceasar's, and the Barbary Coast). We will definitely be back, even if we don't get the upgrade next time.
