"all we expected and more!!!!"
|
When we arrived, we were immediately overawed by the magnificence of it all, our check in was trouble free and we were offered a tower room (which I had heard were bigger) or pyramid we selected the tower and were not disappointed. I was particularly impressed with the bath plus separate shower cubicle. “2 queen sized beds added to the luxury feel.
I must advise anyone who visits Las Vegas to try the Luxor steak house, what a treat.
The only slight problem we encountered was a lack of waitresses willing to serve us at the pool, they seemed more intent on looking after the groups of beer swillers, perhaps the tips were more.
All in all a marvelous introduction to Las Vegas.

"Brilliant Hotel!!!!!"
|
My boyfriend and I went to this hotel in April for a wedding where I was a bridesmaid and we thought the hotel was excellent. It is down one end of the strip but this didn't matter to us because the facilities more than made up for the location.
Checking in was quick and simple and they made every effort to accommodate your needs. The rooms were larger than average with 2 queen size beds, a sofa and table and a large bathroom with a shower that you could probably fit 8 people in!!! Maid service was every day and rooms were always thoroughly cleaned
Swimming pool area is very luxurious with 3 pools to choose and staff are constantly walking around offering a bar service.
Plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from and you are never bored for something to do.
Lastly, casino is huge and croupiers are always on hand to offer help. Minium bet tables of $5 are good as well compared to $10 minimum bet tables in hotels further down the strip. July 14, 2005 |
"Great hotel" |
Stayed in the pyramid (well if not you may as well stay in any hotel) found room very good, clean and comfortable. Room on 22nd floor - no noise at all! Kids loved using the "inclinator" lifts, even the one who doesn't like normal lifts. TV in room has usual facilities plus Internet access (handy for e-mails etc). No problem at check-in, offered excellent price to have two adjoining rooms instead of all sleeping in one. Used valet parking for car - didn't see it again until I left Vegas. Managed to walk as far as Treasure Island and back, Strip is very long when walking. Stayed for 3 nights but to see Vegas allow a minimum of 5 nights possibly 7. January 6, 2004 |
"Treated like royalty at the Luxor" |
My date and I were very pleased with the beauty of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. We spent three fun-filled nights there. The shows, the food, and the pleasant atmosphere made it a vacation to remember. No guess as to where we will stay on our next visit to Las Vegas! December 12, 2003 |
