"Comfy beds, easy to get in & out of hotel to strip" |
We stayed at the Palms in Oct. 2005; the staff was very, very accommodating & friendly. I highly recommend the rest. "Little Buddha", located in the Casino, the food was excellent and the rest. had an awesome decor. The bartenders mix you up some great drinks that they recommend!! The hotel also has a food court for late night munchies or an inexpensive snack. The rooms were very, very clean & comfortable...although we weren't in it very much! No problems getting a cab for the 7 days we were there, no long wait lines. The place is full of beautiful people and has more of a younger crowd; it was a lot of fun. We will stay there again next year. The only bad thing,,,,,the pool was closed, due to renovations, bummer. Go see "Larry" at the sports book bar & have him make you a "Kryptonite", tell him Michelle sent you!

"Enjoyed my stay" |
I have stayed at most of the strip hotels. This hotel is for the younger crowd (or young at heart). I would not recommend this hotel if this is your first trip to Vegas since its location is so far off the strip. If you came to Vegas to party and you want a clean/comfortable room, and pretty good restaurants, this is the place for you.

"Palms was truley awesome" |
I cant beleive half of the previous negative reviews I read prior to my stay at the Palms. Myself with six friends (All 26-28 years old) stayed at the Palms from Decmeber 25th to December 30th. Ive been to Vegas five times before this trip and this trip was definately one of the best yet (largely due to the Palms). To start with the check in was fast and the staff was very friendly. Our rooms were decent with great views of the strip. And the rooms are priced quite reasonably. Although I didnt do so good at the tables, the dealers were okay and the waitesses were great. Rarely had to wait for a drink while playing at the tables. The first night there, someone from the front desk or bell captain?? hooked us up with a Palms Limo to take us to our late evening destination. Free of charge (mind you we gave a nice tip to the driver). Little Budha restaurant had fantastic food. The Ghostbar was really cool with an awesome view of the Strip. Not only was one of the girl bartenders at the Ghostbar extremely attractive but she was really nice as well. The bouncers at Ghostbar were also really friendly. Club Rain was intense. Outstanding lighting, effects and sound system. Bartender at Rain even bought one of my buddies a round to thank my buddy for tipping him decent throughout the night (and it was only average tips). Because of the Palms we will be heading back to Vegas this summer to stay and party some more when the Skin Pool lounge is open. Will have to check out nine steak house as well next time. If your young (twenty- thirties) or young at heart, this is the place to stay. With most new hotels in Vegas you get lost with the utter size and amounts of people. The Palms is smaller and makes things more personal. Well done George Maloof in creating an awesome place in Vegas. Will return for sure!!! January 5, 2004 |
"Off The Chain" |
The Palms Casino is definitely the place for the 21 to 35 crowd. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed linens were very comfortable and nice (not that standard floral polyester crap). The Ghostbar was very cool. The pool area was cool...beautiful women, nice beverages. Room service was very quick and the calamari was tasty. August 17, 2003 |
