"The place to stay in Vegas"

Very nice decorated and spacious suites. General areas also well maintained and decorated. Due to its size of the hotel we noticed that we never felt the hotel to be overcrowded like we saw at the Bellagio for instance. The Casino is very nice and drinks are for free! The shopping centre with the Venetian gondolas is special, although we are Europeans and have seen it in real. We found the Shopping centre at Ceasars the best. Nevertheless for dining, drinking and enjoying a getaway the Venetian was the nicest and most amazing hotel we have seen in Vegas.

"las vegas with tweeners"

Spent 2 nights June 17-19 at Venezia with 2 kids 11,13. The rooms were gorgeous and very clean and spacious. 2 queen beds with lots of pillows and a pullout queen with plenty of extra towels and sheets for all! Hotel was friendly and located right in the middle of the strip. Saw several shows. Lance Burton, Mac King, Rick Thomas provided magical entertainment and very appropriate for kids and a welcome break from the sun. Legends of Rock and Roll was a universal hit with the kids (and us) with realistic and well choreographed impersonations of all (including the KING) Skip Viva Las Vegas at the Stratosphere..I spent more time trying to cover the kids ears (and eyes). DInner at the stratosphere was fun at sundown and then the kids did the rides. You can pay at the top as you get free admission up the tower with dinner..although the meal will run about 50plus per person. The dessert of the stratosphere.. a monstrous chocolate tower we split by 4 and had leftovers is a must. Look for coupons to get cheaper rides. Do not bother to see Treasure Island at night. It is extremely poorly done and very sexual..plu you wait with millions and cannot see anyway..and this was with a VIP pass! Of course once for the fountains and the volcano and the moving statues inside Cesars palace kept everyone happy. The shopping at Cesars is a must for the 13year old mall rats..high end and great bargain hunting. The other malls seem a step down and not worth the effort.

"Wonderful hotel in every possible way"

The hotel staff and service was 5 star at all times, check in and check out was a breeze. We were told our room was immediately available, at 9.30am, which made things so much easier for us. The room was gorgeous, big, immaculate, wonderful view of Mirage volcano, beautiful and large bathroom. We even got a small refridgerator at no cost, just asked for it at check in. The king bed was comfortable, housekeeping was good. Be careful of the minibar, it has sensors, so even if you just open the door, it will automatically charge you! The hotel itself is simply gorgeous, the lobby, the shops etc. I've been at the Venetian before, but it still stands out. Security was tight and ample. The pools were great too. Renovation was still being completed, but it was not a bother at all. Drinks at the pool were very pricey, but you expect that in such places. We found the food court decent. If you aren't in the mood to spend too much time and or money, it works well. Bella Panini had great wraps, huge and relatively well priced. Even gave us a 2 for 1 coupon for the haagen das next door. We ate at the Tsunami Asian Grill, although my mohito was not great, the food was pretty good. Again, quite expensive. The best food we ate was at Margaritaville, in the Flamingo. The food, the drinks, the service, all were excellent. Sit upstairs if you can, and you will get a great view of the strip, mostly Ceasers, and it's less noisy. We didn't see anyone smoking either. The Venetian, though more expensive than most hotels on the strip, is worth every penny. I am not a big spender at all, but even I was impressed at the service and quality of this hotel, and walked away feeling that it was definitely worth the extra expense.

"Great room and restaurant"

We stayed in the Venezia Tower in mid November. The service was excellent, the room was clean, large and exactly what I expected. It's a big hotel, so the long walk to the room was no surprise. The concierge, Patty, recommended we eat in one of the hotel's restaurants, Lutece. She reserved us a window VIP table. The service was superb and the food was unlike any other- fabulous flavour combinations, light, and seasoned perfectly with every entree beautifully presented. I highly recommend both the Venetian (it's a great value if you want upscale) and Lutece (expensive, but worth it).

"Brilliant!"

We have just returned from a brilliant stay in the Venetian, Ok we were on our Honeymoon and that certainly helps, but this hotel is just beautiful! Our room was the standard suite, and it was luxury at its finest! The staff were all polite and very friendly and nothing ever seemed to be too much bother. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone, who wants to stay somewhere a little bit special!!
